Dear TNZ Member Organisations,
This is to advise you all that this year’s TNZ New Zealand Black Belt Championships will be held in Auckland on the 29th October as follows;
29th October 2011
TNZ Black Belt Championships
Avondale College Stadium, Avondale, Auckland
The TNZ New Zealand Black Belt Championships is open to current Black Belt members of TNZ member organisations. A full information package with entry forms will be sent out to all TNZ member organisations later this month. As a ‘heads up’, this year’s championships will see the introduction of the Daedo Electronic Body Protector scoring system for all competitors. Daedo Electronic Sensor Socks will need to be purchased by all athletes participating in the Kyurogi competition. The information package will include details on how to order or purchase these.
We will also be using this event to seed all athletes competing in both Poomsae and Kyurogi going forward and for the first time, the Kyorugi event will be held as a Round Robin competition. This way everyone gets to compete against everyone in their respective divisions on the day! So this year’s TNZ New Zealand Black Belt Championships are not to be missed!
Please ensure your members are aware of this announcement and we will send out further information later this month.
Regards
