오클랜드 역사상 최고의 파티가 5만명이상이 모인 가운데 9월 9일 금요일 저녁부터 Waterfront 에서 열립니다.
오후 4시 킥오프를 시작으로 모든 참석자들은 올블랙과 통아의 첫 경기를 대형 스크린을 통해 무료로 관람하실 수 있습니다.
이에 교통체증이 우려되오니 이점 유의하시길 바라며 Quay st 와 feeder st 는 9월 8일 목요일 오후 10시부터 9월 10일 토요일 오전 4시까지 차량통행이 불가합니다.
축제에 참여를 원하시는 분은 도로와 대중교통은 혼잡이 예상되오니 타운에서 머무르셨다가 예상보다 조금 일찍 Fanzone으로 가시어 좋은 자리를 찾으시기 바랍니다. 행사장 주변에서의 개인차량 운행을 삼가하여 주시기 바랍니다.
버스: 개막식때는 브리토마트 주변의 몇 버스 정류장의 위치가 변경될 수 있으니 미리 확인하여 주시기 바랍니다.
기차: 특별히 Western Line 을 이용하시는 분들께서는 일반적인 서비스의 영향을 받으실 수 있으니 사전에 확인하시기 바랍니다.
Eden Park에서 오후 7시 30분에 열리는 공식 개막식은 7시까지 자리에 앉으시어 관람을 준비하여 주시기 바랍니다.

The Rugby World Cup is just around the corner and we’re all gearing up to get behind our team!
Anticipated to be Auckland’s biggest party in history, opening night on Friday September 9th will see over 50,000 people head down to Auckland’s Waterfront. Kicking off at 4:00pm, attendees will enjoy free entertainment, watch the All Blacks first game against Tonga on big screens and soak up the thrilling atmosphere.
Such a large influx of visitors to the city will put pressure on roads and public transport, meaning staff will experience longer than normal travel times going home. Additionally, a large part of Quay Street and feeder streets in the CBD will be closed off from 10pm on Thursday the 8th of September until 4am on Saturday the 10 September.
Some points to pass on to others that may no have this information:
If you are joining in the festivities, get to the Fanzone early to ensure you are in the best spot
The roads and public transport will be very busy, so stay in town and be part of the fun. Trying to get home from the CBD at peak time will be very difficult so if you are able to make alternative work arrangement please do.
Quay Street and the surrounding area will be closed so avoid driving near there
If you use buses to or from Auckland’s CBD, you need to be aware that the position of some bus stops will be moved away from the Britomart area on Opening Night
If you use trains, especially on the Western Line, you need to be aware that normal services will be affected. All passengers not going to the Match will be directed to the eastern entrance of Britomart (Westpac end) to get priority boarding onto their trains.
If you’re going to the official Opening Ceremony and the match at Eden Park, leave early, and plan to be in your seat at least 30 minutes before the start at 7.30pm so you don’t miss a thing.
