Dear Lord, we put ourselves into Your hands

We will trust in You the rest of our years

We now believe and understand

Our prayers are better than fears.

By faith we cast all our fears away

They have cost us many tears

Our life is much happier today

Because our prayers are better than fears.

We are not the persons we used to be

Our prayers to You have set us free

They have brought us sweet release

And by Your grace we now have peace.

We know God watches over us today

He hears us when we pray

And will care for us in our golden years

So, our prayers are better than fears.
