I Am Praying for Their Hearts and Brokenness :
This morning I am sitting reading stories and essays of my Korean community people In Auckland after the devotion A Place of Forgiveness. Many of them have faced things that are hurtful.
I don’t have all the answers, but I know that God is a healer.
I know that He loves them.
I know that He cares.
I know that we aren’t meant to be tied to the feelings and hurt of the past.
So today I pray with and for each of them, asking God to move into those broken places. To fill them with His presence, and to show them that, regardless of the past or another person’s actions, His plan for them has not gone away.
Precious Heavenly Father.
We know that You see them.
We know that You see their hearts and their brokenness.
We know that You have not abandoned them, and Your heart hurts with them.
Lord, fill them up.
Take them to a place of hope and of joy.
Show them all the miracles of today and of tomorrow.
Lead them one small step up and out of this place where brokenness seems so familiar.
Let them experience the renewed sense of You and of Your presence.
Today, they intentionally walk into a renewed and deeper relationship with You as You hold Your arms open.
Today we believe together that transformation and healing are ahead.
In Your powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
