NZ Bus is the biggest operator of urban bus services in New Zealand, and we are currently seeking applicants to become Bus Drivers for our various brands around Auckland.

Our Bus Drivers are at the forefront of our business, providing the New Zealand public with a first class service every day. We have a number of depots located throughout the Auckland Region, each responsible for operating one of our brands- City, Onehunga, and Panmure depots operating the MetroLink and Link brands, Swanson in the West we have our Go West brand, and our Waka Pacific brand operates from Wiri in the South. Over the bridge we have North Shore and Orewa operating the North Star brand. We're one big happy family, all working to bring our communities together!

We are only considering applications for Bus Driver positions at the North Shore depot at this time.

Driving a bus and looking after its passengers is a demanding and responsible job. We insist on giving our customers the best quality of service, so it is essential that we recruit the right people for the job. We are looking to hire individuals who genuinely enjoy interacting with people and who are sociable, helpful, polite and understanding. Once you leave the depot, you are in sole charge of your day and the bus, so you need to be able to work unsupervised.

In addition, you will need to meet the following criteria:

* Need to be either a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident

* You must have a full class 1 New Zealand driver's licence which you must have held for at least two years OR have an exemption

* Must be able to pass our background checks
