They Have Been Our True Love And Our Koreans In Auckland.

그들은 오클랜드에서 우리의 참 사랑이었으며 우리의 한인들이 되어져 왔습니다.

 

You have been our friends in Auckland.

You have made us settle down in this Auckland world and live along.

You have been the only friends and neighbours.

당신은 오클랜드에서 우리의 친구들이었습니다.

당신은 우리를 이곳 오클랜드의 세상에 정착하게 해주고 함께 살게해 주었습니다.

당신은 단지 친구들이었으며 이웃들이었습니다.

 

You have been our brothers and sisters.

You have taken care of us and loved more than you always.

당신은 우리의 형제들이고 자매들이었습니다.

우리를 보살펴 주고 언제나 자신보다 더 우리를 아껴 주었습니다.

 

You have been our Koreans in Auckland.

You have stayed by us during our lifetime.

You have taught both love and even encouragement.

당신은 오클랜드에서 우리의 한인들이었습니다.

당신은 우리의 생애 속에서 우리 곁에 꾸준히 머물러 왔습니다.

당신은 사랑과 심지어 격려까지도 가르쳐 주었습니다.

 

The ways to live and go have been wholly with us.

Even when we have died, you have lived in our heart

And have lived with heart in your whole life.

살아서 가는 길들은 모두가 우리와 함께 동행해 주었습니다.

심지어 우리가 죽어서도 당신은 우리의 마음 속에 살아 왔으며

당신의 생애 속에서 진심으로 살아 왔습니다.

 

As you have lived and died together lying on side by side,

You have acted with body and soul

as the most beautiful Koreans have loved in this Auckland world.

당신은 나란히 누워 같이 함께 살아 가고 함께 죽을 수 있기 때문에

이 오클랜드의 세상에서 가장 아름다운 한인들의 사랑으로

몸과 정신을 다하여 활동해 왔습니다.

 

Even the rest love not to be done

have shared in Auckland and filled in our songs and essays.

The image of Koreans love as footsteps when dying

will shine on the monument inscribed with songs and essays.

오클랜드의 삶에서 못 다한 사랑까지도

우리의 노래들과 에세이들 내용에서 나누며 채워져 왔습니다.

훗날 죽어서도 발자취로 남겨진 힌인들의 사랑의 모습은

노래들과 에세이들로 기념물에 새겨서 빛낼 것입니다.
